Squab Storage Advice

Here are some commonly asked questions – for further information please contact us.

How do I secure my storage unit?

With your own padlock or we can supply you with one. We do make a charge for our external Drive Up units as these need to be weather proofed locks. We do not retain keys or codes to any units that we supply padlocks to.

How long must I pay for at once?

We would expect payment up front for the first four week period. We will refund any storage fees that you have overpaid if required.

What security systems do you have?

CCTV, fire and burglar alarms, and our staff on site keeping an eye on everything.

Can I increase or decrease my unit size?

Just turn up and change to your required unit size. There is no notice required for doing this but we would advise you call in advance to make sure the room will be available. We will simply re-credit any monies you have overpaid in your existing storage unit and then start again in the new unit.

How can I move things in to my unit?

We can arrange to collect and place in to your new room or you can use your own transport to do this. If you are struggling to find your own transport ask about our van rental services.

Can you receive my deliveries on my behalf when I am not there?

We can receive deliveries for you but you need to advise us of the expected date of delivery and ensure that your name and room number are provided to the courier company delivering.  We do not accept responsibility for checking stock delivered to us although it there is clear external damage we will make note of this.
